So we're building something different: a media-first social app for dating, friendship, or networking that deliberately breaks away from the "swipe-and-algorithm" bullshit.

They hate loneliness, too. So much so that they hold hands when they sleep, so they don't drift apart at sea.
Besides being adorable, it's what we all want—a raft of connections to keep us afloat. People who genuinely give a shit about us through the good times and the bad.
And that starts with real authentic connections.
No more games. No more swipe fatigue. Just be yourself. Your actual self.

We believe that people are much more interesting and holistic than a bunch of adjectives and nouns.
We removed labels altogether. Nor will you be matched with people based on any label. Real life doesn’t work that way.

Anything, but text
Are you the type that overthinks before texting? We are.
Otter Raft eliminates text messaging entirely. You connect only through short video messages, voice clips, images and GIFs. Say good-bye to playing exhausting text-based social games.

You get shown 6 profiles per day—spend 15 minutes max to build a richer, more connected life.
But… why only 6 profiles? Others only see six profiles as well. Because we want to focus on the quality of connections than quantity. For you to be able to see, and be seen, holistically.

Eventually, we'll prompt you to meet up. We will suggest autism friendly locations and even organize socials open to all Otter Raft users.
